Terry Joseph McDonagh, 36, of Mortimer Road, Oxford, admitted wilfully obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty on December 23 2017 in Rivermead Road, Oxford. Fined £80. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £40.

Terrance Wayne Hanks, 36, of Luther Street, admitted driving a motor vehicle, namely a Land Rover Freelander, on the A44 Woodstock Road, while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence on April 29 2016. Also admitted driving dangerously on the same road in the same location and on the same date. Also admitted using the same vehicle on the same road and on the same date when there was not in force, in relation to that use such a policy of insurance or such a security in respect of third party risks. Sentenced to prison for 18 weeks and six weeks concurrent. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £140 and costs of £100.

Krzystof Smolem, 36, of Red Poll Close, Banbury, was convicted of criminal damage to property valued under £5000. On September 25 2016, Smolem damaged a car wing mirror to the value of unknown belonging to Rashed Mohammed intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged at SGM in Banbury. Also admitted on February 1 2017, failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. Fined £200. Ordered to pay compensation of £371.96. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £400.

Jake Andrew Goodwin, 22, of Balfour Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive, insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of/provoke unlawful violence in George Street, Oxford on December 12 2016. Also admitted criminal damage to property value under £5000 on the same date in the same location. Goodwin admitted without lawful excuse, damaging a police vehicle window to a value unknown belonging to Thames Valley Police intending to destroy or damage such property or being to reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Community order made. Defendant must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85, costs of £85 and compensation of £100.

Chad Hyland, 45, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing till units, cash and wine to the value of unknown, having entered as a trespasser at a building in St Michael's Street, Oxford, on February 2 2017. Also admitted a charge of intent to steal at the same property on the same date. Sentenced to prison for 18 weeks concurrent. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £140.

Ryan Hadley Jessop, 25, of Coriander Way, Oxford, admitted fraud by false representation. Jessop admitted on September 1 2016 in Guildford, Surrey, committing fraud by dishonestly making a false representation, namely attempting to purchase hydroponic equipment, intending to make a gain of goods to the value of £5420 for himself. Also admitted the same offence in Magdalen Road, Oxford, on September 1 2016 when purchasing aquarium equipment intending to make a gain of goods to the value of £1008. Community order made. Rehabilitation Activity Requirement ordered for 15 days and defendant must carry out 180 hours unpaid work. Ordered to pay compensation of £800.

Kayleigh Mary Watson, 30, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment in that she failed without reasonable excuse to comply with a supervision order on September 29, October 20 and December 15, 2016. Fined £25.

BANBURY

Hayley Stout, 29, of Boxhedge Road West, Banbury, admitted stealing £199.96-worth of meat and groceries from Tesco Extra, in Banbury, on January 27. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

James Alderton, 39, of The Causeway, Bicester, admitted dishonestly receiving stolen goods, which was a Kia Picanto, worth between £8,000 and £12,000, belonging to Eleanor Thomas, in Horton-cum-Studley, on January 20. Also admitted stealing £120-worth of toys from Bicester Toys, in Sheep Street, Bicester, on January 23. Also admitted driving without insurance on the M40 Oxfordshire on January 1 and in Church Lane, Horton-cum-Studley, on January 20. Also admitted driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence on the same dates. Handed a community order, with a 15-day activity requirement, a 12-month drug rehabilitation requirement and an 80-hour unpaid work requirement. Given a 12-month driving ban and ordered to pay £85 compensation.

Mark McGowan, 27, of Moor Avenue, Witney, admitted damaging a pane of glass worth £49.20 belonging to W & DC Lea Opticians, in Market Square, Witney, on November 11 last year. Also admitted failing without reasonable case to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates' Court on December 23 last year. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £49.20 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.

Justin Smithwick, 42, of O'Hanlon House, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted taking a Ford Ranger without the consent of the owner of other lawful authority, for use by himself or another, in Banbury on June 11 last year. Also admitted driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance on the same date. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Marlon Stevens, 36, of Bartsia Road, Bicester, admitted assaulting Joseph West by beating him in Barberry Place, Bicester, on November 25 last year. Also admitted damaging without lawful excuse a hand sanitizer at John Radcliffe Hospital, Headley Way, Oxford, on January 5. Also admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress at the hospital on the same date. Handed an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.
