CHALK paint guru Annie Sloan has teamed up with Oxfam to create a new paint colour to mark the charity’s 75th anniversary.
The new shade is named Lem Lem, which means the lush green of fresh growth in the language of Ethiopia.
The paint will be sold through Annie Sloan’s stockists around the world and online, at £18.95 for one litre and £4.95 for 100ml.
A percentage from the sale of every litre pot sold in the UK will go to the charity to support Oxfam’s work and it is hoped it will raise £250,000 in three years.
Ms Sloan said: “The colour I created was inspired by the soft green fields of alliums I saw on my visit to Oxfam’s Ethiopian Seed Project.
“To me, it’s the colour of hope.”
