SALEEM THOMAS, 45, of Clematis Place, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Saxton Road, Abingdon, on December 11. Fined £35 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

REBECCA JEFFS, 44, of Matthews Way, Wootton, was convicted of assaulting a man by beating him in Three Fields, Oxford on October 5. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months, £20 victim surcharge and £100 court costs.

ADAM DANIEL HOPES, 22, of Hosker Close, Headington, admitted drink-driving in Rose Hill, Oxford, on December 28. Had 59mcg or alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £277, victim surcharge of £30, court costs of £85. Banned from driving for 14 months.

IONEL PUF, 37, of Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted possessing a kitchen knife and driving without insurance in Between Towns Road, Cowley, on December 27. Must carry out 150 hours unpaid work in 12 months. Plus £85 victim surcharge, £85 court costs and £300 fine.

MICHAEL JAMES WALLS, 56, of Glebe Cottages, South Stoke, admitted drink-driving in Market Place, Wallingford, on November 25. Had 113mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £235, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85. Banned for 26 months.

BLAINE PARTLETT, 24, of London Road, Headington, admitted sending a grossly offensive message on December 13. Sent to prison for six weeks, suspended for 24 months. Must have treatment for drug dependency for six months and pay £115 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

NILTON MONTEIRO DE SOUSA, 31, of Alice Smith Square, Oxford, admitted driving whilst disqualified in Champion Way, Oxford, on November 26. Must carry out 150 hours unpaid work and pay £85 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Disqualified for 18 months.

BRUCE LOVAT PHILLIPS, 73, of Third Acre Rise, Oxford, admitted possessing extreme pornographic images and making indecent photographs of a child between November 29 and December 8 in Oxford. Must participate in a sexual offending accredited programme, £85 victim surcharge, £200 court costs.

NELU-FLORIN DAVID, 38, of Canning Crescent, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected to have committed an offence between July 18 and August 15. Fined £660, court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for six months.

ASHLEY SMALE, 46, of Sir Frank Williams Avenue, Didcot, was convicted of driving a vehicle without insurance in Hitchcock Way, Didcot, on October 3. Fined £300, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs. Disqualified for six months.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES

FAARAH HIRABE, 24, of Pound Field Close, Oxford, admitted possession of 20g of cannabis, a Class B drug, and taking the cannabis into a detention centre on November 5 at Kidlington. Fined £300, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

ALEXANDER PARKER, 32, of Station Approach, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly on January 30 in Bridge Street, Banbury. Fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

ANDREW SCHOENEMANN, 29, of Kennedy Road, Bicester, admitted assaulting a police officer on October 7 at Adderbury. Fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

TIMOTHY WALL, 35, of Hailey Avenue, Chipping Norton, admitted stealing a Citroen C1 vehicle valued at £3,000 on October 17 in Goddard Lane, Chipping Norton, as well as driving without a valid licence. He was also convicted of conveying the vehicle without the owner’s consent between December 24 and 25 2016 at Charlbury, Chipping Norton, and breaching a previously imposed conditional discharge. Community order made and he must participate in the Thinking Skills programme for 30 days and rehabilitation activity for 25 days. Must pay compensation of £200, victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £100. Fined £100 for breaching the conditional discharge.

DUNCAN CLEAVER, 36, of no fixed abode, admitted being in possession of a drug of Class A – methadone – on September 27 at Banbury police station. Fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

OLIVER MARSHALL, 23, of Quickset Close, Spelsbury, admitted drink-driving on January 3 in Chadlington Road, Spelsbury, with 67mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

POPPY NESTEROFF, 25, of Marlborough Road, Banbury, admitted stealing a handbag from a woman on June 19 at Banbury. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay compensation of £337.50.

MOHAMMED AZAM, 39, of Easington Road, Banbury, was convicted of two counts of assaulting a woman and one of harassment on August 12 at Banbury as well as causing criminal damage totalling £200 to an iPhone 7 Plus, taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and driving without third party insurance on August 26 at Banbury as well as breaching a restraining order. Jailed for 18 weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £115, court costs of £725 and compensation of £150.

EDWARD RAWLINS, 34, of Green Lane, Milton under Wychwood, admitted drink-driving on January 20 at Witney with 58mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Banned from driving for one year.

CHRISTOPHER JOHN GIBBS, 36, of no fixed address, admitted breaching a non molestation order by loitering on a sports field in Bicester on June 14. Must carry out 90 hours community service over 12 months. Restraining order made, £85 victim surcharge and £700 court costs.
