THREE people have been taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' after a crash on the A40 near Eynsham.
At 5.45pm yesterday, a red Citroen C1 and a silver Renault Clio collided near to the Evenlode public house.
The cars were travelling in opposite directions between Barnard Gate and Eynsham on the A40 at the time of the crash.
A 55-year-old man and 53-year-old woman, who were travelling in the Clio, and a 62-year-old woman, travelling in the Citroen, suffered serious injuries and were all taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, where they remain.
Investigating officer PC Duncan Vale of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, based at Bicester Police Station, said: "I am appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision or witnessed either vehicles' manner of driving prior to the collision occurring."
