Three in custody over armed raid on Stanton Harcourt PO

Three people remain in police custody today in connection with an armed raid on Stanton Harcourt post office.

A 29-year-old man from Witney arrested on Saturday on suspicion of robbery remains in custody.

A 32-year-old man and 32-year-old woman from the Witney area also arrested on Saturday for conspiracy to rob remain in custody.

A 21-year-old man arrested on Sunday and a 21-year-old man arrested yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy to rob have since been released without charge.

These arrests are in addition to two men, both aged in their mid thirties, who were arrested on Friday and released on bail to return to Witney police station on February 5.
