Two charged over Chipping Norton break-ins

Two people have been charged in connection with two burglaries in Chipping Norton on Wednesday.

Joseph Hammond, 20, of Dunstan Avenue, Chipping Norton, and a 17-year-old youth from the town, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with breaking into Applegarth Nurseries and Norton Leisure Buildings and stealing a VW van, tools and cash.

They have been released on bail until a hearing at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 24.
