Thief drops handbag during chase

A WOMAN gave chase after a thief went into her house while she was putting out the rubbish.
The burglar got into the house in Swan Lane through the open front door and stole a handbag while the woman was round the side of the house at about 3pm on Thursday, April 5.
As the thief fled he was chased by the woman and dropped the bag, leaving empty-handed.
The burglar is 5ft 6in tall, aged about 17 and thin, with shaved blonde hair.
He was wearing a black jacket with jeans and black shoes or trainers.
