TO celebrate the centenary of Alfonzo, a Steiff teddy bear which was given to Russian Princess Xenia by her father in 1908, Ian Pout, from Teddy Bears of Witney, is hosting a celebration at his shop on Saturday, May 17, which is attracting visitors from all over the world.
Presentations of Alfonzo's history will take place at 11am and 6pm, when Ian Pout will relate Alfonzo's history, and Ian Munro, Steiff's UK marketing manager, will describe the two-year preparation for the production of the Centenary Alfonzo.
