PEOPLE in Oxfordshire are being encouraged to take a walk in the woods this Christmas and see what they have helped protect.
Every year the Woodland Trust runs its Christmas card recycling campaign, which it says continues to be a great success and has helped protect woodland across the county.
There will be collection bins in WHSmith, Tesco and TK Maxx stores from January 2 until January 31.
To find your nearest wood, all of which are open free of charge to the public, visit www.woodland-trust.org.uk/walks
