POLICE are urging members of the business community to ensure money and valuables are not left insecure over the Christmas holiday.
Crime reduction officer Graham Milne, based in Oxford, said: "You may be enjoying the festivities but opportunist thieves could still be at work.
"Make sure you take cash to the bank or at the very least ensure it is securely locked away in a safe. Don't risk carrying large amounts of cash insecurely.
"Ensure your business premises is secured over the holiday and all alarms are set."
