Flood warnings rise

THE number of flood warnings in Oxfordshire has increased following recent heavy rain.
Alerts were in place on long stretches of the River Thames and the catchment areas of the River Cherwell; the River Ray; the River Thame and the River Windrush.
The weather forecast for Oxfordshire for today is some light rain and strong winds.
