Police share of tax up 4.99 per cent

THAMES Valley Police has set its council tax increase to 4.99 per cent for the year from April 1.
The force, which says it is facing a tough financial year, had been warned the Government would cap any increase at five per cent.
The decision was made this morning by Thames Valley Police Authority.
