THE county's hospitals appear to have escaped the epidemic of the winter vomiting virus, Norovirus.
According to a spokesman for the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs the John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals in Headington, Oxford, and The Horton Hospital in Banbury, the outbreak had had "no significant impact at all" in its hospitals.
Doctors have estimated 100,000 people are catching Norovirus in the country every week.
