Manager in line for farm award

IN the running for a farm manager of the year award is Adrian Cannon, who runs the Great Tew estate near Chipping Norton.

He is on the shortlist for the 2006 Farmers Weekly Agricultural Awards, with winners announced at the Grosvenor Hotel in London tomorrow.

Mr Cannon has already impressed judges with the way he has promoted diversity in the running of the estate, as well as the traditional crop and animal husbandry side of the industry.
