THE Witney Lions Club's Father Christmas float will tour Witney and villages before Christmas.
It will stop at Smiths Estate, Burford Road, Cornfield Close and Elm Close on Monday, December 4, at 6pm. It will visit Witney's Deer Park estate on Tuesday, December 5, at 6pm. On Wednesday, December 6, at 6pm, it will stop at Burwell Meadow and Burwell Drive. On Thursday, December 7, it will go from Burwell Drive to Ducklington Lane, at 6pm.
The float will stop at Tower Hill, Davenport Road, Springfield Oval and Beech Road on Friday, December 8, at 6pm. It will visit Thorney Leys on Saturday, December 9, at 5pm.
On Monday, December 11, it will go to Freeland at 6pm, on Tuesday, December 12, it will stop at Kingsfield Close, Oxlease, Church Lane, Eton Close and Blakes Avenue at 6pm.
On Wednesday, December 13, it will visit Newland Mill, Pens Close and Compton Way. On Thursday, December 14, it will stop at Vanner Road, New Yatt Road and Chestnut Close, at 6pm. On Friday, December 15, it will go to The Crescent, Early Road, Woodlands Road, and Woodstock Road at 6pm.
The float will go to Eynsham on December 5, at 5pm, and on Monday, December 18, it will go to Cogges estate at 6pm.
On Tuesday, December 19, it will go to Ducklington at 6pm, and on Wednesday, December 20, it will go to Long Hanborough, at 6pm.
There will be a static float at Sainsbury's, in Witney, on Saturday, December 16, and on Thursday, December 21, from 8am to 4pm.
It will also be at Waitrose, in Witney, on Friday, December 22, from 8am to 4pm.
