POSTERS put up for a charity concert in Witney have mysteriously disappeared.
Eleven A2-size posters were put up around Witney advertising a concert in aid of mental health charity Oxfordshire Mind, this Friday night, at The Palace nightclub, when bands The Hellcats and Every Hippies Dream will play.
Staff at Oxfordshire Mind and The Palace were disappointed to find all but two of the posters had been taken down over the weekend.
Niki Clargo, of Mind, said: "It took hours for those posters to be put up. The concert is for charity, and we are so disappointed someone would go around taking them down.
"It will be a great night, and I would urge people to come."
The Hellcats will play Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, and Chuck Berry songs and many more.
Every Hippies Dream will cover Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and many others.
After there will be a 60s, 70s and 80s disco, fancy dress, and a cash raffle.
It will go on from 8pm till 2am. Tickets are £5 on the door. To book, call The Palace, on 01993 778100.
