WITNEY Town Council gave awards to the best festively decorated shop and house in the town.
Councillors trawled every street and deemed 101 Abbey Road the winner, and 50 Queen Emma's Dyke runner-up.
Winners Darryl and Mary Jeffrey are pictured with their award.
Councillors gave Dennis Green, in Market Square, the prize for most festively decorated shop.
Mayor Chrissie Curry said: "It was very difficult to make a decision as there were so many wonderfully decorated houses and shops.
"The competition has really taken off this year.
"There are so many people who have made a real effort competing against each other.
"The award is designed to encourage everyone to get into the Christmas spirit."
The winners were presented with prizes, including vouchers, meals and mulled wine.
