Girl attacked couple in shop

POLICE today appealed for help in tracing a girl who assaulted a couple at an Eynsham supermarket.

The couple, in their 40s, were assaulted in the doorway of the Eynsham Co-op by a girl who was with a group of youths.

A police spokesman said: "An officer was called at 7.35pm on Wednesday after reports of a disturbance.

"On police arrival several youths were ejected from the shop."

Details of the attack was only released today.
