Revised rubbish collections arranged

REVISED rubbish collections have been arranged for West Oxfordshire in the coming days after the disruption caused by last week's snow and freezing conditions, The council had to cancel its usual pick-ups of refuse and recycling material, and has now rescheduled its collection.

Those that would have been collected last Thursday and Friday will now be delayed until this week.

If bins have still not been emptied on these days, householders are asked to continue leaving them out as a 'catch up' collection will take place on Saturday. Green waste collections are also running two days late, and will also be collected on Saturday.

People are asked to leave their bins out until collected, although bulky waste collections have been re-arranged. Excess commercial waste is being collected this Thursday and Friday.
