A RARE Italian motorcycle and a Mini Cooper were stolen from a house in Witney.
The thieves entered the house in Thorney Leys sometime between 10pm yesterday and 7am today.
They stole keys that were downstairs and took a 56-plate black Mini Cooper and a red 900SS Ducati motorcycle, registration P867 MRJ, which was locked up in the back garden. The thieves also stole a black and silver 'Roof' crash helmet.
PC Rob Stubley said: "The bike is rare so I am appealing to anyone who may have seen or does come across it to contact me as soon as possible."
Crime reduction adviser, Bill Butcher, said: "Please don't make it easy for burglars to enter your home. Always make sure your keys are somewhere safe and out of sight from prying eyes. My advice to residents is to take your keys upstairs with you when you go to bed.
"Also try not to leave car keys near to front doors where they can be fished' or hooked' out through the letter box."
PC Stubley can be contacted via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
Alternatively if you do not want to speak to police, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
