TEACHERS and staff at a school in Witney could not stop the feeling as they created a dance video to say farewell to pupils.

With sunshine in their pockets and soul in their feet, the fearless faculty at Wood Green School showed moves Justin Timberlake would salute as they waved goodbye to their Year 11 pupils.

To the hit song "Can't stop the feeling" they created a secret video thanking the GCSE graduates for their hard work over the past year.

The video has gone viral on Youtube and social media with more than 10,000 hits so far.

Victoria Clark, head of upper Cornbury, one of the houses within the school, managed to convince members of staff to get in the groove after coming up with the idea.

She said: "I just wanted to do something before they all left that said thank you for all their hard work and celebrated their success.

"The response has been amazing, it's really uplifted spirits."

Ms Clark said the reaction of staff was fantastic when she came up with the idea, which was kept on the down low until the pupils were shown it in their last assembly on Friday.

The music video begins with headteacher Mr Rob Shadbolt bopping along to the number one hit while happily flicking through the pages of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

It then switches to the dinner ladies who show their rehearsed dance routine in style.

Various whacky and wonderful moves are then performed throughout along with some brilliant juggling of tennis balls.

Ms Clark said: "They were astounded when they saw it. I think it's important for them to see that we are people and are down to earth.

"We thought we would get out of our comfort zone and do something. The pupils have all been wonderful so it was out way of saying thank you.

"I started in September, so I think it's the first time we have done something like this, we will definitely look to do it again."
