TEN thousand homes in west Oxfordshire can expect a knock on the door this month from canvassers wanting to promote recycling.
It is part of Recycle for Oxfordshire, a joint campaign by the county and district councils to reduce the amount of rubbish going to landfill sites.
The first wave of homes in west Oxfordshire are in Carterton, Chipping Norton, Charlbury and surrounding villages, while a further 10,000 will be visited later in the year.
