WITNEY'S 'Mr Entertainment', Ian Holloway, plans to put together a special show to raise money for victims of the July flooding.
He has already contacted several acts to appear, and hopes to stage the show at the town's Windrush Leisure Centre - probably in November.
He said: "Like many others in the town, I know of several people who were hit by the floods. Even on my own Queen Emma's Dyke estate, there were some houses that had some water coming in.
"A friend of my daughter had just moved in to the new Aquarius development, off Bridge Street, where the downstairs flats were flooded. Fortunately, she was in a first-floor flat."
Mr Holloway earned his nickname through staging variety shows in the town, usually at the leisure centre, raising money for leukaemia and breast cancer charities.
