Former councillor dies

FORMER county councillor Brian Hodgson has died.

Mr Hodgson, a 69-year-old father of three, died on Saturday in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, a week after being admitted with heart problems.

Mr Hodgson, of Greenfield Crescent, Stonesfield, was a former Labour group leader on the county council, representing Charlbury, and was the chairman of the constituency party.
