BURGLARS targeted three schools in West Oxfordshire in one night.
At 2am last Thursday, a window was forced at Bartholomew School. Eynsham. and a set of keys were taken from the kitchen stores.
At an unknown time overnight, a window was also forced at Chipping Norton School and cash stolen from the kitchens.
Then, also at an unknown time, a window was smashed at Marlborough School, Woodstock, in an unsuccessful attempt to break into the kitchen.
Det Sgt Craig Kirby said: "Thankfully, nothing of serious value was taken, but it is a concern that someone is targeting schools in this way and the possible implications it could have for local communities.
"If you saw anything suspicious in the area of these schools, please get in touch and tell us what you know."
Det Sgt Kirby can be contacted via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
