Rider, 43, dies in crash

A 43-year-old motorcyclist has died after a crash near Witney.

Police said the accident happened at about 5.45pm yesterday, when a red and black Suzuki motorcycle left the A4095 Witney Road, just west of Downs Road, near Curbridge.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

PC Simon Lincoln said: "The motorcyclist was travelling in the direction of Curbridge when he left the road. I appeal to anyone who has any information about the incident to contact police immediately."
