ADRIAN Phillips, pictured, from Witney, has launched a free website, which supplies his fans with a song a day.

He specialises in promoting unsigned and small-label artists, and covers all kind of music, which he is confident will hit the big time one day.

It all began when Adrian shared his passion for music with friends, and began sending them a daily song. They suggested he opened a website, and offered this service to everyone, which is just what he has done.

In addition to the track of the day, Adrian's email contains a short and witty response to living in the 21st century. The website www.tunAtheday.com also contains a lively forum, competitions, and a gig page, plus an archive of all the tracks featured so far.

He said: "I can't believe that what started as a way of filling some down time at work and showing off my musical tastes to a bunch of my mates has mushroomed into something which more than 3,000 now get in their in-boxes every day.

"For a mid-40s bloke, like me, who has been besotted with the stuff since the mid-1970s, it is utterly amazing," said Adrian, who admitted it had taken him years to find out what he really wanted to do with his life.

"TunA has helped me break down my barriers as well as, hopefully, doing so for other people."
