An 18-year-old-man was airlifted to hospital tonight after his car crashed into a tree near Chipping Norton.
He was flown to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and was said to be in a serious but stable condition.
His Peugeot 206 crashed on the B4026, which links Chipping Norton and Charlbury.
Another man, who was a passenger in the car, escaped injury in the crash, which happened at about 6.55pm.
The road was closed for several hours as police accident investigators examined the scene.
