A man airlifted to hospital following a tractor accident was this morning in a critical but stable condition following surgery.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, underwent surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, last night after the accident on the Great Tew Estate, off New Road, yesterday.
It is understood the man had been in a small tractor cutting grass when the vehicle rolled down a bank.
The accident is being investigated by the Health and Safety Executive.
