Police were today continuing their investigation after two cars were destroyed in an apparent gas cylinder explosion in an Oxfordshire village.
Firefighters were called to Redbrick House in Bruern, west Oxfordshire, just before 8pm last night.
Police spokesman Adam Fisher said a fire was started in a domestic oil store at the property which spread to propane gas cylinders.
Two cars were then badly damaged in the ensuing blaze but no one was injured.
Diane Ferraris, an accountant who works for Bruern Stable Cottages, holiday homes run from Redbrick House, said today: "Police officers are still here investigating the cause of the fire.
"The telephone line to the main house has been knocked out so we are waiting for engineers from British Telecom."
