Flashback: The sealed-off site following the accident
The funeral of the building site worker who died in an accident at Marriotts Close, Witney, will be held on Friday, September 12.
The development company, Simons Construction, is shutting down work on the town centre site for the day as a mark of respect for 28-year-old Altin Balla.
He leaves a young widow and two children and the funeral is being held in their home village near Aberystwyth, west Wales.
Simons is laying on a minibus for colleagues who worked with Mr Balla, an employee of sub-contractor Safety Net Services, to attend the funeral.
The Health and Safety Executive is still continuing its investigation into the accident which happened last Friday.
