Four vehicles in A40 smash

Paramedics are at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on the A40 between Witney and Oxford.

There is slow traffic and one lane closed, due to the four-vehicle crash on the eastbound carriageway, near the B4022 junction outside Witney.

Emergency services were called to the scene following the accident at 8.45am.

At 9.30am, a spokesman for South Central Ambulance said: "Staff are still at the scene and we can't provide any further information at the moment."
