A GROUP of residents and staff from the Middletown Grange care home, in Hailey, will be meeting celebrity gardener Charlie Dimmock after reaching the final of an In Bloom competition run by Barchester, owners of over 170 homes in the UK.

The overall winner will be announced on October 1 at an awards lunch at the Hurlingham Club, in London. Sue Knight, home manager, said: "The nicest thing is that the residents actively participated, as we do not have a gardener at the home."
