PEOPLE considering a career in childcare can get advice from experts during an event in Witney.
Information will be available about how to get started, job opportunities, training, and funding.
Childcare workers will also be on hand to speak about their own experiences.
The event is organised by Oxfordshire Children's Information Service (OCIS) and Oxfordshire County Council's Early Learning and Childcare Service.
Louise Chapman, the council's cabinet member for children, young people, and families, said: "Working with children is a rewarding, challenging, and interesting career, with the potential to change lives for the better. This is a great chance for people to come along and find out all they need to know to get started."
Annette Priest, OCIS childcare recruitment officer, added: "One of our aims is to increase the numbers of people working in childcare, and we hope events such as this will enable people to find out more about what is involved."
The event takes place at the Witney Corn Exchange on Thursday, February 23, between 10am and 1.30pm.
