RESIDENTS at a Witney elderly people's home have been given a giant flat-screen TV by the Town Hall Charity.
Malcolm Baker, activities co-ordinator at Madley House, in Madley Park, said: "The size of the screen helps the residents that are partially-sighted be able to watch films, documentaries, and special events on television.
"It also has a better sound for the hard-of-hearing, so we're very grateful to the Town Hall Charity."
The charity spends any profit from town-council owned properties which does not go towards maintenance. Any deserving group in Witney can apply for the funds.
