CELEBRATED author Joanna Trollope made a flying visit to Chipping Norton, to sign copies of her new book.
The writer, who was educated at St Hugh's College, Oxford, was at The Bookshop, in West Street, to promote Second Honeymoon, her 13th novel.
Owner, Patrick Neale, said about 40 people turned up to see her.
He said: "It went incredibly well, and she was delightful."
He added that Ms Trollope was very loyal, and always came to his shop whenever she had a new book out.
