GOVERNMENT planning inspector will decide whether three caravans can be permanently sited in Alvescot.
Developers want to set up the mobile homes in the Ark site, Main Road, but West Oxfordshire District Council objected to the proposals.
Planners rejected the application, because they said the site was too near to the Alvescot conservation area.
They also felt the caravans would cause 'significant visual harm' to the rural character and appearance of the area.
A public hearing will be held on May 16, at 10am, at the council offices, Wood Green, Witney.
