12:47pm Thursday 2nd March 2006 in Witney By Andrew Alexander
MOTHERS trying to get back into shape after the birth of a baby have been taking part in an unusual form of exercise in Witney.
Buggyfit, a combination of power walking and exercises while pushing a pram, was the brainchild of Emma Redding, from Thame.
Tracey Harden, from Combe, has recently started leading classes around Witney's parks every Wednesday morning.
She said: "Mums can have trouble trying to get their figures back after having a baby. We go out for about an hour, and the best thing about it is women can get exercise without having to find someone to look after the baby."
The group meets at 11.30am every Wednesday in the Leys, by St Mary's Church, before crossing to Witney Lakes Park.
For more information, call Miss Harden, on 07977 228756.
