AN exhibition about the county's buildings has opened and hopes to turn visitors into house detectives.
The Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire, Hugo Brunner, opened Discovering Oxfordshire's Buildings at the Oxfordshire Museum, in Woodstock.
Funded with a £5,000 Lottery grant, the project aims to get people interested in the county's building heritage, and teach them to pick up clues about how, when, and why a building was used.
David Clark, secretary of the Oxfordshire Buildings Record (OBR), which has organised the show, said: "It is to bring to people's attention the diversity and the history around us, and the way that they can get involved in researching historic buildings.
"We want people to get fired up.
"And we are keen to get new members involved."

The exhibition will be in Woodstock until April 6, when it will move to the Vale of White Horse District Council offices, in Abingdon, and other venues.
