PUPILS at a West Oxfordshire primary school used their talent for spelling to raise money for a national children's charity.
A sponsored spell at North Leigh Primary School, with friends and family pledging money for every word spelled correctly, raised an impressive £1,394.49 for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
Headteacher, Penny Price, said: "The pupils have all worked really hard to raise money for the NSPCC, and they have shown how much they care and want to help other children. I'm very proud of them."
