Students learn circus tricks in crash course

ALL the fun of the big top came to one Witney school on Friday, as children finished a week-long crash course in circus skills.

Throughout the week, every pupil at the Blake CofE Primary School, in Cogges Hill Road, attended one or two workshops to learn a circus trick, and on Friday, staff and students dressed up to show off their skills to parents.

Headteacher, Marilyn Trigg, said: "When not being taught skills, children were studying numeracy, science, and literacy using plans incorporating circus themes."
