Two men in hospital after car park attack

AN ATTACK on two men during the early hours of the morning left both requiring hospital treatment.

A 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old-man were treated for facial injuries after they were assaulted with some kind of weapon in a supermarket car park in Upavon Way, Carterton, at 3.15am on Saturday, March 25, a police spokesman said.

The younger man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and treated for a fractured eye socket. The 21-year-old was taken to Witney Hospital.

Two men have been arrested, and have been bailed.
