Villagers walk six miles for cancer research

A CHARITY walk in Eynsham raised about £500 to help research into breast cancer.

Jackie Tinson, pictured right, and Sandra Syphas, with the dog, who work together at Chancellors estate agent in Mill Street, Eynsham, persuaded about 25 people from the village to take part in the six-mile walk from Eynsham through Freeland and Church Hanborough on Mother's Day.

Ms Tinson said: "It was just a nice way of getting people together for a worthwhile cause, and hopefully we've raised quite a lot of money."
