CHILDREN at St Hugh of Lincoln Nursery school, in Curbridge Road, Witney, had a splashing time turning buckets of water into buckets of money, in support of the fundraising appeal Water for Life, run by the charity Water Aid.
The children dressed in blue, and enjoyed a water-themed morning, with balloon painting, exploring objects frozen in large blocks of ice, and playing with water activities set up in the nursery garden.
Principal, Faye Carrick, said: "The children have been exploring the book Handa's Surprise, which is set in Kenya, and taking part in the Water for Life appeal gave the children a real opportunity to help others in this part of the world."
Max Evans, aged three, is pictured painting a water-filled balloon.
Water Aid is the UK's only major charity dedicated exclusively to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation, and hygiene education to the world's poorest people.
