Triathlon organisers look for volunteers

WITH the Blenheim Triathlon just weeks away, organisers are keen to hear from people willing to volunteer to help marshal the event.

The triathlon will take place in May at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock.

Entries have closed for the event, and more than 3,000 athletes are expected to take part.

But if just the thought of swimming, cycling, and running around the palace grounds exhausts you, but you would like to get involved, the organisers would love to hear from you.

They are looking for volunteers to help at the event on Friday, May 19, Saturday, May 20, or Sunday, May 21.

Tasks for marshals range from directing athletes, helping in transition, supporting competitors, and handing out medals on the finish line.
