9:00am Wednesday 26th April 2006 in Witney By Andrew Alexander
PSYCHO Silvera known by day as Cassington man Greg Stockwell is preparing to face world heavyweight champion, 'Uptown' Frankie Capone, from Florida, in a wrestling match on Friday in Witney.
The American pro-wrestling show, at The Palace nightclub, run by Extreme World Warfare (EWW), will feature seven matches, including a fight between The Dominator and Joe Legend, last seen on TV show Celebrity Wrestling.
The show is returning to The Palace for the fifth time, and organisers emphasise it is suitable for all. Organiser, Stu Allen, said: "It's a family event.
"We always have noisy crowds and a great atmosphere."
Some of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust, in memory of Witney man Neil Thacker, who died in a motorcycle accident last month.
Tickets cost £9 for adults, £6 for under-16s and OAPs. To book, call 07887 871197, or visit www.extremeworldwarfare.com
