CUTBACKS are happening across the county's health service, despite campaigns from MPs, councillors and residents.
Last month, petitions with 50,000 signatures called for community hospitals to be saved and against job cuts by Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust.
Six hundred jobs are to go at the Oxford trust's hospitals, including 225 from nursing and midwifery, in a bid to reduce the trust's £33m deficit.
Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust will stage public meetings to discuss its "cost reduction programme and performance improvement".
A meeting will be held in at the Corn Exchange, in Market Square, Witney, on Wednesday, July 26, from 6.30pm.
