AN open day and fun dog show is being held at the Blue Cross centre, in Burford, to raise funds to help homeless animals.
The animal adoption centre, in Shilton Road, will open its door for the activity day from midday on Sunday, August 20.
There will be children's games, stalls, cakes, and refreshments, and a dog show, including classes such as best rescue dog, most handsome dog, and prettiest bitch.
Entry to the event is by donation.
Centre manager, Helen Wright, said: "There will be lots for guests to do, and all the money raised will go straight to helping the homeless and unwanted animals in our care."
The centre is entirely reliant on public donations.
