A MAN was punched in the face and robbed as he waited for a taxi in Chipping Norton in the early hours of Monday, August 28..
The 25-year-old left a birthday party at 1.30am, and joined a taxi queue in Albion Street at 2am. He was then punched in the face and knocked to the ground by a youth, who reached into his jeans pockets and stole his wallet, which contained various cards and £100 in cash.
PC James Hopkins said it is believed five or six young men were involved, but there are no descriptions.
