WEDDED bliss turned to tears when a Witney couple arrived at their honeymoon hotel to a catalogue of disasters.
Hannah and Mark Hornsby, of Farmers Close, Witney, paid £800 for their holiday - a two-week trip to Benidorm, in Spain - but flew back to England just a day later.
They had arrived at the Flamingo Playa Hotel to find they were on the 20th floor, without a lift.
When they got to their room, the toilet and floor had not been cleaned, there was damp up the walls, and wood finishings were peeling.
Mrs Hornsby, 18, said: "I phoned my mum in tears, saying, it's an absolute hell-hole. She said we should sleep on it, which we did, but it looked even worse in daylight.
